"Phytovision" is a body of work that invites the viewer to adopt a phytocentric perspective. "Phytovision: Road Trip!" documents the transportation of a young oak tree from Chicago, where it wrote its first book, to Saugatuck, Michigan, the hometown of the tree's inspirational author. Scientific research has indicated that many plants can percieve light and shadow, as well as the colors red and blue. With this limited color palette and fragmented form, Phytovision: ROAD TRIP presents a "plant's-eye view" of one particular tree's journey.
