Written by Trees is a series of poetry and literature written by oak trees. The first project, "Novel by an oak tree" began in June 2012 at the Oxbow School of Arts. The second was generated during a show at the Leroy Neiman Center Gallery. The process was repeated, generating a new text, which was later used as a source text for a collection of poems written by prairie plants.
